Pierre Romell Anderson, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 14, 2021, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 5900 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found Anderson lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his chest.
