On March 17, 2024, Sandra Cervantes, a 43-year-old woman, and Dustin Nunn, a 38-year-old man, were found shot to death at a former DoubleTree hotel converted into a homeless shelter in Denver, Colorado. The incident occurred in one of the shelter's residential rooms located at 4040 North Quebec Street in the Central Park neighborhood.
