In the early morning hours of November 8, 2021, a quiet Denver neighborhood was shattered by a tragic act of violence that claimed the life of 43-year-old Kathryn W. Cochran. A female resident of Denver, Colorado, Cochran was the victim of a domestic violence incident that ended in a murder-suicide. The events began to unfold around 6 a.m. in the 8100 block of East Dartmouth Avenue when a car driven by Cochran crashed into a parked truck in a driveway, causing both vehicles to erupt in flames.
