In the winter of 1981, the life of 17-year-old Antoinette Parks was brutally cut short, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. An African American female, Antoinette was a student at Gateway High School in Aurora, Colorado, with dreams of finishing her education after the birth of her child.
