Dale Eugene McEntire, a 63-year-old resident of Bellefonte, Arkansas, was found dead in his home on Monday, June 26, 2023, with a gunshot wound. The discovery was made around 3 p.m. on that day.

The investigation into McEntire's death began immediately after his body was found. It was determined that the shooting likely occurred during the night before his body was discovered.
