Lavor White, a 39-year-old Black male, was shot on February 21, 2024, in Little Rock and later died from his wounds. Just after midnight, patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire near West 24th Street and Lewis Street and were directed to a home at 4209 West 24th Street. Inside, they found 63-year-old Nicky Lamar dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Around the same time, White arrived at UAMS with gunshot injuries; despite treatment, he did not survive.
