On March 31, 2024, a shooting incident occurred on Highway 79 in Jefferson County, Arkansas. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) received a call at approximately 12:30 a.m. to the 9200 block of Highway 79, where they found two individuals inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
