In the late morning hours of June 17, 2024, the city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was rocked by a tragic event that unfolded in the parking lot of a liquor store on South Cherry Street. Forty-four-year-old Mary Christopher, a female resident of the city, found her life brought to an abrupt and violent end. She was seated in her black passenger car when she was fatally shot.
