On June 29, 2024, just before 10:00 PM, officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 4321 S. Olive, Village Green Apartments in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Upon arrival, they were directed by witnesses to apartment #21, where they found the door open. Inside, they discovered 28-year-old Tamar'k Jack lying face down near the apartment door, suffering from several apparent gunshot wounds and unresponsive.
