On a summer afternoon in Conway, Arkansas, the life of Jack Damon Ruple Sr., a 71-year-old Caucasian male, was brought to a tragic and violent end. On July 12, 2024, at approximately 3:13 p.m., Faulkner County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to Saddler Road, located east of the city, in response to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered that Ruple Sr. had been fatally shot. The investigation that ensued quickly led to the identification and arrest of a single suspect.
