Arrien L. Porterfield, a 27-year-old resident of Princeton, West Virginia, died on July 30, 2023, as a result of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at Lynn's Drive-in in Bluefield, Mercer County, around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Born in Welch, West Virginia, on November 26, 1995, Arrien was the son of William Larry Porterfield. His death was confirmed at the scene, where he was pronounced dead after being shot.
