Ramon Shakir Goux, a 31-year-old resident of Elkins, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was a member of the Elkins Police Department, holding the rank of Patrolman First Class.

Goux was found deceased with an apparent gunshot wound off of U.S. 33 east of Elkins.
