On Friday, September 20, 2024, Huntington Police responded to a welfare check at a residence on the 900 block of 12th Avenue in Huntington, West Virginia. Upon arrival, they found Michelle Daniels, 47, with severe injuries. She was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries two days later, on Sunday, September 22.
