On February 11, 2023, 17-year-old Muridthi Hamadi was fatally shot in an apartment near 1600 West Ivy Circle in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was found by Salt Lake City police with a critical gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
