On a summer day in Salt Lake City, June 25, 2007, the life of Stephen Anderson, a 60-year-old White male, was tragically cut short. A veteran correctional officer with 22 years of service, Anderson was escorting an inmate, Curtis Allgier, to a medical appointment at the University of Utah Medical Center.
