On June 10, 2017, 62-year-old Gary Arthur Williams, a male resident of Pinson, Alabama, was discovered with multiple stab wounds outside his camper located in the 9400 block of Old Tennessee Pike Road in northern Jefferson County. Two men at the scene reported that an individual named "Ray" had informed them that "someone jumped on Gary," prompting them to check on Williams.
