On May 28, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. The victim, identified as 42-year-old Thomas Priest, was shot and killed in a non-residential area.

The incident began when David Chase, a 59-year-old man, called dispatchers just after 4 p.m. to report the shooting.
