On August 22, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Santaquin, Utah, resulting in the death of 5-year-old Brooks Thomas Wilson. While playing in his parents' bedroom, Brooks accidentally found a loaded 9mm pistol and, in a devastating turn of events, the gun discharged when he picked it up, causing a fatal head wound.
