A 19 yr old is found shot to death in Big Cottonwood Canyon
On November 18, 1998, 19-year-old Trisha Beristain was found shot to death in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. Authorities believe that her death was a result of an execution-style shooting by her boyfriend, Jesse Vega, who has evaded capture since the incident. The investigation suggests that Vega drove Trisha to the canyon and shot her after a confrontation, possibly motivated by jealousy.
