On September 3, 2024, the bodies of Maribel Ibarra and her three children were discovered in a vehicle at a residence in West Haven, Utah, near 1800 S. Prevedel Drive. The investigation by the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, led by Lt. Terance Lavely, determined that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide perpetrated by Maribel Ibarra.
