Chase A. Jones, a 22-year-old resident of Atlantic, Iowa, died on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. He was born as Chase Alexander Jones.

The incident occurred in Lyman, Iowa, where the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a shooting at 69244 Lyman Street at 7:02 p.m. on the same day. Jones was transported to the hospital by Griswold Rescue but did not survive.
