On Friday, March 17, 2023, at 4:03 PM, law enforcement responded to a 911 call reporting an individual injured and not breathing at 618 West Boone Street in Marshalltown, Iowa. Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old male deceased, later identified as Isaiah Montell Forest, although his age was initially reported as 27, it was later corrected to 28 in some reports.
