In the late morning hours of November 30, 2020, the life of 24-year-old Charles James Griffin, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a targeted act of violence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Cedar Rapids Police Department received a call reporting a shooting at a residence, and upon their arrival, they discovered Griffin's body. He had been fatally wounded by gunfire.
