Charles James Griffin, a 24-year-old resident of Hiawatha, Iowa, was fatally shot on November 30, 2020, at a residence in the 400 block of F Avenue NW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Police officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:54 a.m. and found Griffin's body inside the home. The incident has been confirmed as a homicide, and police believe it was a targeted shooting based on preliminary information.
