On March 7, 2015, Marcus K. McCaskill, a 28-year-old resident of Marion, Iowa, succumbed to his injuries at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He had been hospitalized since Saturday, March 6, 2015, following a fatal shooting incident.
