In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 7, 2015, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the peace in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. When officers from the Cedar Rapids Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered 28-year-old Marcus McCaskill critically injured, having sustained a gunshot wound.
