On a late summer evening in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the life of 40-year-old Hispanic male Jose Florentino Ramirez Landin was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On Saturday, August 28, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., emergency services received a report of a shooting in the 4000 block of 21st Avenue SW.
