In the summer of 2020, the life of 19-year-old Keyshawn Vondale Allers, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On Sunday, July 12, 2020, Allers was found deceased before 4 a.m., his death later determined by Cedar Rapids police to be a homicide.
