On August 18, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in a Glendale, Arizona neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of two brothers, Albert Anthony Gonzales, 30, and Juan Rudy Gomez, 28. The shooting took place early Sunday morning around 5:30 a.m. near 63rd and Maryland avenues. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found the two men with gunshot wounds inside their home. Despite being transported to a local hospital in critical condition, both brothers succumbed to their injuries.
