On February 1, 2021, a fatal shooting occurred in Tempe, Arizona, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Daniel Moreno. The incident took place near the intersection of Southern and Mill avenues. At around 7:10 p.m., police officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Moreno, who had been shot.
