On a warm evening in Tempe, Arizona, on August 19, 2023, a dispute that began over the volume of music tragically escalated, ending the life of 28-year-old Chase Dunphy. The male victim was at his residence near McClintock and Watson Drives, a home he shared with several roommates, including the man who would be accused of his murder, Michael Aaron Coupland.
