On May 18, 2017, a fatal shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Garden Grove Apartment Homes in Tempe, Arizona. The victims were 20-year-old DeSean Estrada and 16-year-old Kayon Williams, who were found shot to death inside a car. Kayon Williams was a junior at McClintock High School and was described as well-liked and funny, often making people laugh.
