On April 3, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Mesa, Arizona, resulting in the deaths of Aide D. Popoca, her daughter Ashley Popoca, and her son Rafael Popoca. Aide Popoca, 46, and her 14-year-old daughter Ashley were shot and killed by Aide's 21-year-old son, Rafael Popoca. After committing the murders, Rafael turned the gun on himself, leading to his own death.
