Janell Mora, a 40-year-old woman from Mesa, Arizona, was fatally shot on September 26, 2020, while she was out for a jog. At the time of her death, Janell was separated from her husband, Stephen Joseph Mora, due to suspicions of his drug use and hiring of escorts. She had moved in with a friend in East Mesa.
