On September 4, 2015, Mona Denton, a 74-year-old resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, lost her life in a tragic incident of domestic violence. The event unfolded when her husband, 75-year-old John Denton, shot and killed her.

According to reports, after shooting his wife, John Denton went to a neighbor's house and informed them that his wife needed medical attention. However, instead of seeking help, he returned to their home, locked the door, and then took his own life.
