On the evening of June 30, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona, 21-year-old Nadia Mysliwiec was fatally shot while sitting in a parked vehicle with 20-year-old Ramon Moraga. The incident occurred near 115th Street and East Sahuaro Drive. Scottsdale Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting the sound of gunshots around 9:50 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch.
Inside, both Mysliwiec and Moraga were found with gunshot wounds that were determined not to be self-inflicted.
Moraga was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mysliwiec was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The investigation into the double homicide led Scottsdale Police to execute several search warrants across the Valley nearly a month later, on July 29, 2025. These warrants resulted in the recovery of evidence that linked suspects to the killings.
Three individuals were arrested in connection with the deaths of Mysliwiec and Moraga. The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Lebron Rogers and two juveniles who were not named publicly. Rogers was taken into custody at a residence in Phoenix, while the two other suspects were arrested at a home in Glendale. All three face two counts of murder and two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon, suggesting the motive for the fatal shooting was robbery. During the service of the search warrants, authorities also located two missing juveniles who were unrelated to the homicide case.
