In the fall of 2016, the life of 20-year-old Jonathan Balbastro-Carrillo was cut short in a fatal shooting in Phoenix, Arizona. A Hispanic male, Carrillo was the victim of gun violence on October 21, 2016. His death was connected to gang-related activities.
