In the quiet community of Sanders, Arizona, a tragedy unfolded that shattered the peace of a retired couple's life. Martha Sorenson, a 75-year-old White/Caucasian female, and her 81-year-old husband, Robert, were found deceased in their home on the evening of July 1, 2017. The discovery was made by deputies from the Apache County Sheriff's Office after concerned family members requested a welfare check, having been unable to reach the couple by phone.
