John Duane Kalles, an 81-year-old man, was last seen on September 2, 2021, at a Safeway store in Shelton, Washington. A week later, his vehicle was found abandoned in Aberdeen, Washington, but there was no trace of him. Kalles, who was known to frequent the coastal areas of Washington, might have been heading towards Kalaloch, a remote resort area within Olympic National Park, at the time of his disappearance.
