On April 6, 2019, Sean Michael Bartnik, a 37-year-old man, lost his life to gun violence in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred at a Motel 6, where Bartnik was found in his room by the police.

When police arrived at the scene, they were directed to Bartnik's room, where they discovered him unresponsive with gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, Bartnik was pronounced dead at the scene.
