In the warm early summer of 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 18-year-old Natalie Bentacourt was tragically cut short. On June 24, 2019, the young woman, who was of mixed race, became a victim of gun violence. She was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
