In the winter of 2021, a promising life was tragically cut short in west Phoenix. Audrey Dibeli Valverde-Ramirez, a 26-year-old woman, was found with a serious gunshot wound on the evening of Sunday, December 5th. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 51st Avenue and McDowell Road, a detail that would become central to the ensuing investigation.
