In the quiet community of Dewey, Arizona, a tragedy unfolded on Thursday, January 23, 2020, leading to the death of 58-year-old Gerald Weglin. That afternoon, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office received a distressing call reporting a man had been shot in the chest.
