On April 22, 2016, Jose Sanchez, a 49-year-old man, was found shot and killed in his apartment near 57th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale, Arizona. The incident occurred during a home invasion and robbery, where a group of burglars barged into the family's residence. Sanchez sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
