In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Phoenix, a life was tragically cut short at a party. Jose Alejandro Sanchez-Gamboa, a 23-year-old man, was fatally shot on February 22, 2020. The incident unfolded at an apartment located near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road, where a gathering had been taking place.

Phoenix Police responded to a call about a shooting at the residence and discovered Sanchez-Gamboa with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators learned that ...
