In the spring of 2020, a life was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Jerrod Moreno, a 26-year-old White / Caucasian man, was shot and killed on the afternoon of April 8, 2020. The fatal encounter took place around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Broadway Road.
Reports from investigators indicate that prior to the shooting, Moreno had been involved in some form of argument with one or more individuals. The dispute escalated, tragically culminating in gunfire.
Moreno sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the immediate aftermath of the incident, the Phoenix Police Department launched an investigation into the homicide. Despite their efforts, no arrests were made in connection with Jerrod Moreno's death in the days following the shooting. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the argument and subsequent shooting remained ongoing.
