On a Wednesday afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona, a life was tragically cut short. It was September 16, 2020, when 47-year-old Modesto Perez found himself in a heated argument. The dispute, which took place around 2:20 p.m. near 1402 W. Polk Street, escalated to a fatal conclusion.
