Jaime Fernandez Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Mesa, Arizona, was fatally shot on July 17, 2021. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 200 N. 88th Place in Mesa. On the evening of the shooting, Jaime was outside his mother's house, where the family was preparing to watch a Suns playoff game near the intersection of 88th Street and University Drive.
