On May 18, 2017, Jorge Alcantar, a 31-year-old man, was fatally shot at a home in Mesa, Arizona. The incident occurred near Southern Avenue and Mesa Drive, where police responded to a possible shooting call around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Alcantar dead at the scene. Additionally, a 45-year-old woman was discovered injured and was later treated for her injuries before being released.
