Ilya "Mike" Shimonov, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 3, 2022. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Shimonov was taken to a hospital following the shooting but succumbed to his injuries.
