Scott Harkness, a 59-year-old resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, and a beloved member of the local Special Olympics community, was found shot to death on February 6, 2022. His body was discovered on the side of the road near the intersection of Camelback and Hayden roads in Scottsdale. The incident was reported after a 911 call from a witness who spotted him in the early morning hours, with other witnesses reporting hearing gunshots in the area.
