On February 6, 2022, Karen Parish, a 73-year-old resident of Tucson, Arizona, was found dead due to gun violence. She was discovered along with a 75-year-old man, Wayne Hayes, in a vehicle parked outside a home in the 2400 block of South Rose Peak Drive.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, when Tucson police responded to the scene. Both Karen Parish and Wayne Hayes were found shot to death in the vehicle.
